BeWheels is very far from the big manufacturer we all know and was born because we think these differences were more than beneficial and had to be enjoyed.
First, the "factory" wheel, as it is called, is designed to be manufactured and sold in very large quantities. It must correspond to the majority or even the total population. It goes against all logic as much as there are different users ; gender, weight, age, level, training places, expectations ... For that reason, we ask some personnal informations during an order and step in if it would be not adapted to his future user. In this way, the material adapts to the cyclist and not the opposite ! This is the major of artisanal assembly.
Being specialized in the handbuilding wheels, it is possible for us to obtain many other components than those present on our webshop. We are extremely attentive to technical news and very well informed, do not hesitate to contact us.
Moreover, thanks to our local and affordable character, we offer a contact, a service, a follow-up and very personalized and fast advice. At BeWheels, the designer is also the seller, we have the chance to avoid many intermediaries for sale and so, offer a more attractive price for a same range product. Or let's say, a much higher product for the same budget.
Finally, very little technical feature but greatly appreciated our wheels are also custom-made in terms of their aesthetics. So now choose the color of your hubs, spokes, nipples, stickers, ... so that your wheels are in the artistic extension of your bike.
To end, guarantee of reliability, we guarantee you your wheels for two years, as a result of a hand-made assembly in the rules of art, thanks to tools of precision and fame. Your wheels are made to last !

Technical : spokes tying.
The primary goal not being aesthetic optimization, some studies focused on the mechanical contribution of tying and there was not theorical proven advantage. Still, we could imagine a model in which tying increase the torque by providing extra support for tractor spokes, but no one has ever been able to prove it. In practice, it's just as nuanced. Some don't feel any improvement, others note a better traction, others seems to feel a better front wheel rigidity ... There is however an advantage that we can't deny is that in case of broken spokes, you won't have damage at your frame paint or your derailleur mechanism. Rest assured, a properly mounted wheel cannot have this kind of trouble except sometimes on fall, because of an obstacle, a spoke defect, etc ... in short, this is rare.
At BeWheels, we consider spokes tying as the finish touch of quality handbuilding and adivse you to tie your new wheels in order to preserve the frame and the transmission of any possible risk.
